Le Cochon Volant is a bistro and cocktail bar located in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil.

With the aim of bringing French cuisine to the city, the establishment offers traditional French dishes with a contemporary twist and seasonal ingredients, under the creative direction of renowned chef Gabriel Rossi.

With the name idea provided by the client, we began researching the culture and history of France, seeking something specific that, in addition to matching the name, could enrich the entire project's concept.

The world's first hot air balloon was developed in France in 1783 by the Montgolfier brothers.

We incorporated this key element that connects history to the name, adding other elements of French cuisine and creating an illustration with personality and a storytelling consistent with the brand.

Le Cochon Volant é um bistrô e bar de drinks localizado na cidade de Porto Alegre, Brasil.

Com o objetivo de trazer a culinária de origem francesa para a cidade, o estabelecimento oferece pratos tradicionais da França com um toque contemporâneo e ingredientes sazonais, sob a direção criativa do renomado chef Gabriel Rossi.

Com a ideia do nome fornecida pelo cliente, iniciamos uma pesquisa sobre a cultura e história da França, buscando algo específico que, além de combinar com o nome, pudesse enriquecer todo

o conceito do projeto.

O primeiro balão dirigível do mundo foi desenvolvido na França em 1783 pelos irmãos Montgolfier. Incorporamos esse elemento-chave que conecta a história ao nome, adicionando outros elementos da culinária francesa e criando uma ilustração com personalidade e um storytelling coerente com a marca.

The restaurant Le Cochon Volant was born in one of the most traditional houses in the Moinhos

de Vento neighborhood, in Porto Alegre. Its history dates back to the early twentieth century when it was designed by the Spanish architect Fernando Corona for a wealthy family that settled

in the city.

After years with closed doors, the house was restored and opened to the community under

the name Passo Santo Inácio. The majestic halls of the residence, with architecture echoing

the golden age, dazzle with their opulence and refinement, boasting walls adorned with

hand-painted frescoes, at a time when the idea of wallpaper had not yet been conceived.

The solid wood doors, silent witnesses of the mansion's noble past, continue to lend an aura

of distinction and beauty to the environment. In addition to illustration, our source of inspiration extends to intricate architectural details, such as door frames and subtle reliefs that adorn

the surfaces, elements that are transformed into graphic elements, elegantly adorning

the visual pieces of the project.

O restaurante Le Cochon Volant nasceu em uma das casas mais tradicionais do bairro Moinhos de Vento, em Porto Alegre. Sua história remonta ao início do século passado, quando foi projetada pelo arquiteto espanhol Fernando Corona para uma família rica que se estabeleceu na cidade.

Após anos com as portas fechadas, a casa foi restaurada e aberta à comunidade sob o nome Passo Santo Inácio. Os majestosos salões da residência, com uma arquitetura que ecoa os tempos áureos, deslumbram com sua opulência e refinamento, ostentando paredes adornadas com afrescos pintados à mão, em uma época em que a ideia de papel de parede ainda não havia sido concebida.

As portas de madeira maciça, testemunhas silenciosas do passado nobre do casarão, continuam a emprestar uma aura de distinção e beleza ao ambiente. Além da ilustração, nossa fonte de inspiração estende-se aos intrincados detalhes arquitetônicos, como as molduras de portas e os sutis relevos que adornam as superfícies, elementos estes que se transformam em elementos gráficos, adornando com elegância as peças visuais do projeto
