This birdhouse is called "Wild Thing". My son helped place sticks together that later became this design. My daughter named this birdhouse and it is a reference to the classic children’s book by Maurice Sendak. It was the "wildest" birdhouse she has ever seen.
The whimsical designs appeal to people who have a sense of humor and adventure. We like to see a look of genuine awe and surprise on the face of someone who has seen our birdhouse designs for the first time. The remarkability of each birdhouse stands out in the viewer's mind as they try to reconcile the design with birdhouses they have seen in the past.

Through our birdhouse designs, we hope to add a little fun into people’s lives. When I am involved in the design and building of these birdhouses, I experience a feeling of joy and connectivity with my children. The birdhouses are a means of expressing ourselves, our sincerity, and our experiences. We are always on the lookout for new people, ideas, and places to inspire us. There is always some new idea waiting to be discovered and lingered over in our quiet moments. If something grabs our interest, we take the time to figure out why. This is the source of our artistic direction.
