Environment Poster Project Outtakes
A series of 7 posters created for my Graphic Design degree in 2024 that did not end up as a part of the final project.
This series is intended to highlight environmental anxieties and various relationship people have with consumption and notions of personal and collective cnvironmental impact.
The starting point for this project was a collection of over 100 images of pieces of domestic waste, such as paper, cardboard, plastic wrappings, packaging, etc. The idea was to combine everyday objects that require different recycling approaches in a single collage.
The resulting compositions turned out complex and detailed, and as a result of that, the rest of design desicions had to be quite minimalistic: plain white background and two paragraphs of text written in simple, bold black font.
The QR codr at the bottom left corner of each poster leads to a relevant online zine/article on forms of personal and public relationship to climate chenage and environmental impact.
