Vitruvian Woman
A take on an old classic The Vitruvian Man was drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. It was known to be inspired by the ancient Roman architect Vitruvius, the original drawing shows a nude man in two positions one with his arms and legs apart and the over lapping is one with his legs together and arms out straight beside him, he is in both a circle and square.
I was commissioned to create a piece of work similar but with a modern take to be used in a learning module that helps authors to show the stages they will go through and their evolution throughout their publishing journey.

Showing a woman who is naked, semi naked and fully clothed also shows a feeling of vulnerability and openness, which in turn can be letting out your inner demons and putting your all into mastering the publishing world.
Overall I have loved creating this illustration and designing something that feel so empowering and will hopefully help people to learn by adding visuals.
