I designed the blog for the popular LOST fan/theory site Chasing Lilly during the final season of the show. Obviously this design is an older one, but since I'm adding all my projects I figured I'd add this one, too! At the time, this was one of my first forrays into Wordpress design and customization. Being a fan of LOST when it was on, I had a lot of fun working with the design. I was able to place lots of references and subtle clues about the show.

For instance, I used the famous Dharma logo, frozen donkey wheel, and Kate's toy plane for the navigation menu up top. The background is an image of Hawaii (where LOST was filmed) feathered out to show the blog content. For the sandy background image I took ABC's promotional image for LOST season one and selected the characters from the background. I was able to use some sand textures to create a new brush from the selection. While I could have used the selection and painted within it, I wanted to share the brush with some others. So... I did that!
I even included a secret button on the page that lead to another page with a hidden message about the show.
