LAKESIDE NEUROLOGIC CHRISTMAS PARADE FLOAT
Lakeside Neurologic Christmas Parade Float | Dec. 2021
The following months after the mural project brought the festivities of the holidays, leading to the construction of the Lakeside Neurologic Christmas Parade Float for the annual Hardee County Christmas Parade. Each participating resident was tasked to team up with staff to create Christmas decorations and props for the float to fit the theme of 'Joy around the World'. After multiple brainstorming meetings with each department, I was tasked to transform our ideas into a blueprint for our float.
After a final team meeting, we began the construction of our Christmas train. Within a few weeks of construction, we were proud to showcase Lakeside Neurologic's Christmas parade float. I'm grateful to have been given the opportunity to lead and learn from each team member. I found that this experience allowed me to develop a deeper understanding and respect for teamwork and communication. In times of frustration, I found a deeper understanding for trying multiple ways for a solution. I'm forever grateful to be a part of the joy and unity felt by the residents.
