'Acid Zen' began in 2022 as an unorganized series of illustrations that are allegorical reconstructions of moments in my life, and the mental landscapes I have journeyed through. Every piece is a moment brought to life as an offbeat fairytale, and they all possess a vibrant palette and a world in perpetual dissolution to evoke the mesmerizing chaos of both the mind and memory.
'The Witness' and 'The Colossus' are recurring themes that manifest in many of my compositions, where the witnesses are my avatars adorned with skullmasks, and the colossi represent the complexity of thoughts and emotions. My stories portray a range of psychological and emotional journeys, from self-doubt to self-discovery, as intimidating or enlightening encounters with strange beasts in the enigma of imagination.
Illustrations from this project were previously sold individually as NFTs on SuperRare, KnownOrigin, and Foundation throughout 2022.
