Long Beach's bi-annual 4th Street Retro Ramble happens on September 27.
A pet walk is featured for this fall along with an onsite vet clinic, pet photography and doggy fashion show. All communication materials—poster, postcard, web ads and merchandising items—were needed in a week. To get inspired fast, I checked out animal illustrations from some of my favorite artists: Saul Steinberg, Jon Scieszka, Lane Smith and Shag. Compared to my poster for last year's event, this was going to own a more fifties, whimsical vibe.
