INTERACTIVE TAKE - OVER IN APP BANNER

Observation

After months of strict lockdown, the onset of the unlock phase saw many people starting to venture out on a daily basis and using public transport. With plenty of time on hand while commuting within the city, we stay glued to our phones, with earphones plugged in, scrolling and browsing through limitless content. 

Idea
With the existing COVID19 awareness ads all over the place,

it’s easy to swipe past an ad without reading further.
So the idea was to create awareness in the most engaging

and interactive form by simply using the app itself.
For this, I created an ad that  does NOT look like an ad at first glance. 

Execution 

Wanting to keep the execution simple and interactive,

I created a banner that looks like the Zee5 homepage itself.

Further helping to create some intrigue and letting users conceive it

as the homepage of the app.
It’s only later that the users are surprised with the change of the images in the poster.
