✌️ Fingerboard ✌️
In a bold exploration of artistic expression, I embarked on a creative journey to push the boundaries of 3D motion graphics. The project, aptly named "Fingerboard," was a short animation where I sought to experiment with different art styles, concepts, and techniques, challenging myself in both animation technique and art direction.
At the core of the animation was my hand, transformed into a character in its own right, complete with my tattoos adding a personal touch. The skateboard tricks were not just about the fingerboard but were integrated into the narrative as part of the hand's expressive movements. This approach added a unique and personal dimension to the animation, making it a creative exploration of self-expression through motion graphics.
To complement the visuals, I created a hip-hop song inspired by Iranian oriental music, adding a layer of cultural depth and musical richness to the project. This fusion of genres and influences added a dynamic and engaging element to the animation, enhancing the overall experience for the audience.
For this project, I employed a multi-faceted approach to bring my vision to life. Using Blender, I handled everything from 3D modeling to animations and renders, ensuring that every element was meticulously crafted to perfection. Adobe After Effects was instrumental in creating dynamic 2D compositions and handling the post-production aspects, adding an extra layer of polish to the final output. To complement the visuals, I turned to FL Studio, where I composed original music and sound effects, enriching the overall experience and bringing an auditory dimension to the project. This combination of software allowed me to explore the full spectrum of creative possibilities, resulting in a cohesive and immersive final product.
