My idea: To highlight the unique traits of both cats and dogs, I embarked on a creative journey. I meticulously crafted ten 2.5D paper models inspired by the packaging illustrations. These intricate models showcase the animals in various dynamic poses—whether they’re leaping, sprinting, or peacefully lounging—mirroring their real-life counterparts. By integrating product packaging into diverse dynamic scenes, I aimed to reveal the product’s beauty from multiple angles.
Undoubtedly, this decision posed challenges. Within the week, I had to design, cut, and assemble the intricate paper crafts, create a compelling storyboard, shoot the scenes, apply visual effects, and deliver the final video. The intensity of the process was matched only by the satisfaction of bringing this vision to life.
Behind the scene
My idea: Based on the delightful concept presented in the 10 limited edition launch video, I made the decision to animate the box, imbuing it with a sense of playfulness and exuberance. This animated box symbolizes the joy experienced by the cats and dogs upon being adopted and cared for by humans. The subsequent scene meticulously captures both the interior and exterior details of the box. Finally, the closing scene serves as a reminder of Cocoon’s commitment to supporting AAF through the sale of each product.
