Betway has won five new esports sponsorships

Betway sponsored three of ESL's top esports tournaments in 2018, signing a deal to further expand its esports portfolio.

The leading online bookmaker will work with ESL, the world's largest esports company of Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) and ESL One, in 2018, and will begin working with IEM Katowice in February this year.

In addition, Betway will also sponsor Season 7 and 8 of the CS:GO Pro League, which will conclude in May and December this year.

In 2017, Betway evolved into one of the leading brands in esports betting, with sponsorships from CS:GO Pro League, ESL OneColen, and others, in addition to Pyjamas' partnership with ninjas.

Adam Savinson of Betway said: "We are very excited to be sponsoring some of the biggest events on the esports calendar.

"We've already enjoyed tremendous success in the last 12 months, becoming the first betting partner for CS:GO Pro League and ESL One Cologne, and we want to build on that and further advance.

"Following the success of our previous sponsorship, we will also be on the ground creating our iconic CS:GO content."

"As we expand across ESL assets, we are building a successful partnership with Betway," said Bernhard Mock, ESL Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Business Development.
"We are excited to find such a strong and trusted partner and together we look forward to an exciting year full of esports activities."

Betway, which first launched its dedicated esports microsite in 2015, continues to be a leading supporter of increasing integrity in the industry as a founding member of the Esports Integrity Alliance (ESIC).

Like other sponsorship deals from major operators within the community, the deal will provide viewers with real-time probability updates throughout all tournaments.
