Mandai Wildlife Pattern Design
My first project in Illustrator. When tasked with designing an art piece, I took inspiration from Mandai Bird Paradise and decided to focus on the scarlet macaw. As I researched this bird, I found that their vibrant coloration was fascinating and striking. Their bright red feathers stand out against the dark green of their natural habitat, making them a perfect subject for my artwork. I decided to create a sprite of the scarlet macaw in flight, capturing the beauty of its wingspan. In the background of the piece, I included foliage that closely resembles the macaw's natural habitat, highlighting the connection between the bird and its environment. Additionally, I played around with the composition, having some of the macaws perched on branches to create depth and interest in the piece. Overall, I aimed to create an eye-catching artwork that showcased the beauty and natural elegance of this majestic bird.
