I'm not much of a dog person, but I still find them cute an endearing, so the task of creating dog treat packaging didn't pose too many challenges for me. I actually got inspired not by other dog treats, but dog toys. Recently I've been seeing more toys designed for larger, tougher breeds, so why not design a treat brand for those same dogs? This is where I got the idea to make Tuff Treats.
These boxes are designed to function like milk cartons.
The following are the original die-line files that turned into the packages. I took license-free images of large dog breeds and made transparent renders of them. The flavors are illustrated by yours truly :)
