Brand Identity and Communication Design for a ‘private luxury-dining experience’ by The Soul Company in partnership with Ardbeg Whisky.
About the Client: The Soul Company is a discovery platform for all things soulful. From events, experiences and concepts across Food and Culture they are in the business of creating memories through ideas designed in collaboration with some of the most exciting names across culture in India – transforming the conversation around culture through lived experiences with people moving the needle on the conversation around Food and Culture in the country and beyond.

About the Event: Spanning across three cities in India, ARDBEG Secret Supper Club is a private Izakaya-style dinner series. Here, we skill-fully blend the untamed artistry of fireside cooking with the smoky, peaty aromas of Ardbeg Single Malt Scotch Whisky. A Scotch whisky distillery in Ardbeg on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, the distillery is owned by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, and produces a heavily peated Islay whisky.​​​​​​​
Drawing source from Japanese-inspired design elements with a touch of personality taken from what makes whisky an affluent choice of spirits. The objective was to create something fresh and distinctly Japanese without entering into pastiche.

Designed a series of icons depicting elements that are associated with both the meals and the cocktails to provide a sense of familiarity and intuitiveness to the concept of Izakaya in the Indian F&B dining experience.​​​​​​​
Event 01: Kicking-off at the capital with an Izakaya, specially curated by Chef Shubham Thakur of The Leela Palace, New Delhi. Cocktails like the Twist with Mist and the Sakura Sunset pairing perfectly with the Smoked Salmon Tartar and Chicken Tsukene.

Event 02: After a successful start to the Ardbeg Secret Supper Club, we landed in Bengaluru for our second session in this series at NAVU Project.The dinner involved Izakaya style contemporary plates with Ardbeg cocktails like Bloody Rob Roy and The Islay Highball.

Event 03: Collaborating with an absolute legend when it comes to smokes and grills from Singapore – Chef Peter Smit, the man behind Dirty Supper, commandeering the kitchen at Woodside Inn, Bandra one of Mumbai’s favourite neighbourhood gastropubs. 

Event 04: A bold reinterpretation of Indian flavours by Kainaz & Rahul, a culinary tribute to India’s rich food culture, seamlessly paired with Ardbeg’s smoky and peaty notes at Bhawan, New Delhi.
