This year Cultureworks East ran an open brief to have a piece of work installed in one of the sheds they were installing into their area; I submitted the below design sketch along with images of my previous string work. The organisers later messaged me to let me know that they thought my design fit in really well with the overall look of the area which they were creating; in line with this they asked me if I would work outside the sheds to help define the space.

I created two installations one at the front of the space guiding people in and one at the back demonstrating the space's boundary.

The installations were made with colourful washing lines and tent pegs which fit in well with the festival theme and were easy to take away at the end of the festival.
