I was asked to create an album cover, the brief being a drive through burger bar in space with a hint towards The 'Jetsons' theme...

I started by looking at the Jetsons artwork, especially the architecture, and mapping out a very rough idea of the drive through.

I moved away from the traditional cartoon style to develop a more detailed version. I kept with the mid-century modern architecture theme, adding metal plates to the exterior.

I tidied up the sketch, adding more detail and characters...

...and then added colour, lighting and text.
