The Winner Stands Alone is a book by Paulo Coelho that talks about how our obsession with superficial possessions and status - money, fame, and power, hinders us from discovering what our heart truly desires.
This is a project that aims to re-design the original book cover into an illustration that encapsulates what the book is all about. Set in the early 2000s at the Cannes Film Festival, the letterforms were designed based on the objects that are mentioned in the book - depicting grandeur, class and art.
