Doors. Yellow Series.
Over the last 25 years I have often photographed doors. I found it difficult to explain why they piqued my curiosity so much. Today perhaps I know. They are the boundaries of worlds: there is the one outside and the one inside, invisible. I can only imagine what's inside. Yet the doors also speak of what is outside. Sometimes happy, more often sad and dirty.
In this series the yellow explodes in B&W with brightness and cheerfulness. It doesn't matter what's inside, in the beyond, in the next. Now I know that I'm not "outside", I'm there too.

“Yellow” is the first series, but there will be more in the future. Here I’m now, outside, the right place to stay.
