The Scallop Chair, a chair made from recycled timber with detailed joints. A playful modernist design.

This chair took me longer than the intended 1 week, due to setbacks which altered the final design but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out and I taught myself some new skills.

On this project the making was the highlight, using recycled materials and techniques I wasn't used to. I managed to pull off an elegant chair that sits comfortably in space.
