Las Vegas was chosen to host the 2028 NCAA Men's Final Four, making it the first time to host a college basketball championship

This announcement further solidifies Las Vegas as the greatest arena on Earth, following this year's successful marquee events, including the NFL Draft and NFL Pro Bowl. Las Vegas has hosted a number of NCAA member country basketball championships, including the Mountain West Conference, the Pac-12 Conference, the West Coast Conference, the Western Athletic Conference, and the Big West Conference. In 2023, the destination will also serve as the host of the NCAA Division I men's basketball West Region and National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

The Las Vegas NCAA Final Four Bid Team consists of several sports, entertainment and tourism executives and thought leaders in Las Vegas.
The team includes Jeremy Aguero, senior analyst for application analytics; Jennifer Bundschuh, sports marketing and special events manager for Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA); Sandra Douglas Morgan, president of Las Vegas Raiders; Adam Feldman, vice president of stadium management, programming and guest experience for Las Vegas Raiders; Steve Hill, chief executive officer/president of LVCVA; Lisa Motley, senior director of LVCVA sports and special events; Greg Desharnais, director of Allegant Stadium Assistant; Erick Harper, UNLV Athlete Director; Rob Dondero, vice president of R&R Partners; Mike Newcomb, executive director of Thomas & Mack Center; Chris Wright, general manager of Allegant Stadium; and Brian Yost, chief operating officer of LVCVA.
