Logo Design Process  ➡

As a passion project, I used this opportunity to have fun and create a brand of something I hold near and dear to my heart...Hospitality. Planetary Ice Cream is my take on a hospitality business where the concept of ideas starts with "What else can I create?"

The logo design process started with researching the competition and identifying design trends in the ice cream and coffee industry. I also gathered inspiration from the company's name and mission to create a design that would be unique to Planetary Ice Cream.

After several rounds of iterations, I settled on a logo design that featured a rocket ship about to take off. The logo design captured the essence of Planetary Ice Cream's values and mission, providing customers with an out-of-this-world experience with a sense of exploration of the galaxy.

The new logo design was applied across different branding materials, including business cards, letterheads, and email signatures. The brand colour scheme was selected based on the company's values, featuring a modern palette of blue and white as its core colours with the use of orange to give a nice contrast.

Ice Cream Truck  ➡

The logo design was prominently displayed on the side of the company's ice cream truck. The design was scaled up to make an impact, and the logo was placed on a white background with small star elements to create a clean and modern look.

Business assets  ➡

The brand was used across different business assets, including signage, packaging, and uniforms. The design was prominently displayed in all instances, ensuring that the brand was visible and memorable.

Cups and Coffee   ➡

The brand was printed on the company's coffee and ice cream cups. The design was placed on both white and blue cups giving strong contrast to stand out.

The new logo and branding materials have helped Planetary Ice Cream establish a modern and playful brand image that resonates with customers. The unique use of the logo across different assets has helped elevate the brand and create a consistent look and feel across all touchpoints. As a result, Planetary Ice Cream has been able to differentiate itself from the competition and establish a strong presence in the marketplace.
