ROMANCE IS BORING, MUSIC VIDEO

I was the Director, Cinematographer, Producer and Editor on Romance is Boring. This video demonstrates the type of films I want to create, I don't want my films to conform to the traditional standards of filmmaking. I strive for them to be peculiar, bold and expressive. I am always inspired by films that use anamorphic lenses. The films 'Rye Lane' and 'Poor Things' are particularly inspiring due to their use of wide and fish eye lenses.

ALONE IN A CROWD, MUSIC VIDEO

I created Alone in a Crowd during a challenge set by a music video director for my college course. We had 2 hours to shoot and edit a music video to a 50 second section of the song 'Glue' by Bicep.
BLOCK, Short Film

I was a Cinematographer on BLOCK, it was produced with the BFI and NFTS. Working with the BFI and NFTS is my proudest achievement thus far.

Production Design for Right Person, Wrong Time

Right Person, Wrong Time (working title) is a project that I am currently working on. I am the production designer, and cinematographer. These drawings are concept art for the two main characters personal spaces. I aim for these spaces to reveal unspoken details about each character and to reinforce the details already established by dialogue. In the designs, I have included details that reveal more about the characters' interests and the aspects of their lives that they find most important.
MY FINE ART WORK
Art was the reason why I fell in love with film. Both mediums have many similarities, especially in Cinematography and Production Design. Composition, colour theory and innovation.
'Always Watching' - Oil Painting
PHOTOGRAPHY
The majority of the camera work I do is related to moving image. I do, however, take a small digital camera with me wherever I go. It enables me to practice composition in a quick and easy way.
I used a slow shutter speed in this image. I love how the light creates an abstract detail. I find art with implicit meanings fascinating because every persons' interpretation can be so different.
