The Hennessy Artistry 2013 is one of the global music event of the year, held at Asia World Expo on 2013 Dec 13. We hold the same goal as Hennessy Artistry 2012, which is to drive the awareness of the Hennessy brand, with the only different of doing it even better.

Learning from the previous experience, we tried to push fans engagement to the maximum by asking them to upload 5,000 photos with hashtag onto instagram, and we would reward them with a surprise performance. A risky and daring move but we pass beautifully.

I am responsible for various animation / video elements used throughtout the event, as well as video/photo shooting and the case study video for award submission and homepage's showcase.

I was given quite a bit of freedom so did take the chance of experiencing some interesting transitions.

The animation itself is actually the least challenging to be honest. What take most of the time is actually breaking up the thousand layers source files to prepare for the animation in After Effects... There are many subtle but not to be taken lightly elements to be considered in the making, like to visually express the page is WITHIN facebook yet not needing to emphasize such fact, I tried many standard approach included putting a real facebook page inside. Also did tried putting elements like timeline, blue header, tab and so on but it just didn't look smooth and blend in. At last I let the blue header simply fly pass the screen and turn out that did the job nicely.
