This project looks at a possible future scenario based on a select few key drivers in the year 2070. The focal issue is the design of the food preparation area for domestic living.

 

 

Humans are more conscious of the environment and their impact on the earth. Society has evolved socially and people have developed a greater understanding and awareness of each other and their surroundings. Meals are shared within communities and food is grown in vertical farms or synthetically produced. People live in closer quarters and live as large communities in buildings called EcoHubs.  

 

 

In the homes, people already have a bench area with basic utensils, sink and water supply along with the Liquid IP service. The Modular Kitchen provides the essentials for cooking a meal.
