Death Valley 

A brief large format photo essay

I got to spend a handful of days in The Valley in January.  We had typical winter weather for the region that saw rain, snow and some sun.  

The goal was to work to capture the immensity of some of the landscape vistas the park is known for; being the largest National Park in the US.  

Truly jaw-dropping light was available, assisted by the variable weather. 

The B&W's are true to life. I wanted to enjoy the simplicity of what nature had to offer w/o getting into any Post manipulation as the textures and colours were so complimentary and elegant as they were. 

The panos are stitched with minimal colour correction performed. Shot with an NDGrad for some balance.
