The central theme of the project was centered on manually crafting a distinctive line structure using tools such as charcoal, with inspiration drawn from a provided composition. While the composition served as a source of inspiration, the designer enjoyed considerable freedom in interpreting the forms. Subsequently, the line structure underwent a transition into the digital realm through the utilization of Gravity Sketch, where additional functionality was incorporated with the aid of VR glasses. In my specific case, this process culminated in the creation of a shoe characterized by a dynamic formal language.
After the manual drawing, we selected the most successful sketch, with a focus on creating plasticity and exciting structures. I drew the shoes using Procreate, ensuring that the dynamism of my manual drawings was reflected in the footwear designs as well.
