We visited a wonderful example of the DB5 for reference images, dimensions and a 3D scan to ensure the shape and details where spot on to the real thing.

Design started with finding the outer geometry followed by carefully positioning the internal and engine details.

As a kit designed for a complete beginner, the design challenge was to incorporate as much detail as possible in as few simple parts as possible. This kit is made up of 29 parts in total.

The design phase only took 5 weeks to complete. It was a hugely enjoyable project especially after a couple of years working on some very long and complicated projects before this one!
