One of the most rarest diamonds in the world, the 128 carat diamond is cushion cut with 82 facets, which are 24 faces more than any traditional cut. It is to this distinct cuts and facets that the gem owes its brilliance to. While modelling was relatively straigntforeword due to the geometry of diamonds, the chain links and holder proved to be more of a challenge. The necklace was animated by soft body simulation and the chain was made using array and curve modifiers.
The materials were proceduraly made with the default shaders in blender. Using the glass Shader to achieve the dispersion and followed by ambient occlusion to reach the desired effect of a diamond and not just a reflective crystal.
The Lighting setup was an Hdrp along with an area light to give a shimmer and ambient occlusion.
