Louis

Louis was an entry into an international competition held in Lisbon, Portugal. Every year on Saint Baptist’s day there are small stands lining the narrow streets and people litter them to dance, drink and eat fried sardines. The fish has become a common day symbol of the feast and this organization’s base for a template. The annual contest poses the same question every year: “What kind of sardine are you?”

Mine is that of the everyday people. Louis has many pleasures in life, but one of them is life by the ocean and
the common skills that come with it such as catching the days dinner: a delicious sardine.

This design began as a hand illustration. It later was digitally cleaned up and textured.
