As on the cover of this book, it is an atypical tourist book. If I may say so myself, it is a book of wonder. Like Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, we may be trapped in a wonderful world like Alice and the Rabbit. We could lose track of time, importance, and even ourselves. Cyberspace provided that world to us, more possibilities, and maybe the autonomy that not all of us are ready for. In the end, I hope this book can remind you of how we used to create goofy stories for everything as a kid. I hope to remind you how to wonder happily.

Catch Me If You Can is a collection of beautiful places in Taiwan and the people in this place. Before you start reading, I want to give a piece of myself to you. Taiwan is a country located in east Asia, its people mainly live on the Taiwan island including myself for about 18 years. This project is solely made upon pictures I found on Google Street View. This virtual trip brings me back to somewhere that is familiar and intimate to me. But seeing it through the screen and other people’s cameras, even in the same place can tell a different story. Marshall McLuhan says that the medium is the message, could the images of these places be the currency of media? I hope you enjoy this virtual wander with the selected medium by me. Ultimately, I still hope you can find some inspiration and pleasure in this book.
