2020年左右新冠病毒大爆發,從那一年起,每個人臉上都帶上了口罩,而口罩這個商品從原本只本的只是功能性,變成了具有裝飾性的流行商品,大量出現於市場。怪獸也設計了自己的口罩,使用在行銷活動上。當時我負責監修口罩的設計稿,查看後我修正原始的設計稿。主因是什麼呢?口罩的圖案設計是以肖像為主題的拼花連續圖,這樣的設計方式,重點是肖像及商標字,但原設計未考慮實際口罩上會因為打折有被隱藏的部份,所以就出現了角色看起來像是身體被截掉的情況,這樣會影響消費者拿到商品的完整度與角色的認識強度,這是我認為商業肖像商品的基本,所以我進行修正。

Around 2020, the COVID-19 broke out, and since that year, everyone has been wearing masks on their faces. The product of masks has changed from a functional product to a popular product with decorative properties, which has appeared in large quantities in the market. The Qmonster also designed its own masks for use in marketing activities. At that time, I was responsible for supervising the design draft of the mask. After reviewing it, I corrected the original design draft. What is the main reason? Because the pattern design of the mask is a seamless patterns as the theme. The focus of this design method will be on the clear visibility of the portrait and trademark words, but the original design draft does not take into account that the pattern of the mask will be folded and hidden, so the character seems to be cut off, which will affect the integrity of the goods obtained by consumers. I think this is a commercial portrait product. Basic, so I will revise it. The final product is beautiful.
口罩的印製是數位印刷的,所以沒有色彩數量限制,但我記得是熱昇華的方式,所以設計稿的色彩會和實際成品的色彩有差異,需要測試與調整。
以下是自己試著玩耍的合成作品,一些可愛的花布,我知道網版印刷有色彩數量的限制,但因為是玩耍的作品,就…不用考慮這麼多了。哈。
The following are the mockup works that I tried to play with, some cute flower cloth. I know that screen printing has a limit on the number of colors, but because it is a playful work, there is no need to think so much about it. Ha.
