Scary & Bright was a Social Symphony concert combining Halloween and Christmas music to create a fun and festive performance.

The challenge was to combine Christmas and Halloween visual language without being cliche. I came up with the idea of a spider that is also a yeti/snowman creature. It's fun and festive without leaning too much into Halloween or being too "inspired" by Nightmare Before Christmas. Since the concert took place in December, I leaned a bit more towards winter themes.

Two of the main visual elements I made were the snow-spider and the use of snowflake/pumpkin imagery. The pumpkins are covered in glitter for an extra festive touch.

Like our previous concert program, the booklet is a half-letter sized saddle stitch book printed in full color. Select pages are shown below.
