This project is a high lift jack mount concept that I did for a company, and I thought I'd briefly explain my design. I thought it would be better to mount the jack alongside the roof rack to take up less storage space. I also wanted to ensure the jack is secure, so I used 4mm steel for the mount construction and attached the jack firmly along the x- and y-axes. It was important to me that the jack could be locked, so I created space for an adjustable lock where the locking pin can be completely removed. I also wanted to minimize loose parts when removing the jack, so I designed the bracket to hinge and be quickly released with two hand clamps.
