Introducing At Home - anthology of short comic stories, a recent project that showcases the work of 11 women comic authors from Serbia, a Collective of Women Comic Creators Comic-Aunties / Stripotetke.
The book cover features a simple yet powerful illustration that reflects the feminine perspective on the duality of unpaid housework and creative work, with the figure trapped on the front cover and free and in a creative flow on the back cover . I wanted to send a clear message and theme, by using a very simple illustration style and playing with gender and femininity tropes by using soft colors.
The book won the "Bogdan Kršić" Belgrade International Book Fair Award for Most Beautiful Book in October 2023.
