The Shakes - Podcast Album Art

I host and produce a creativity podcast on misfitrad.io called The Shakes.

One of the things I have always tried to do with the show is have customized album art for every episode that tells the story of what can be found inside, even if at a very abstract level.

I've always been a fan of Blue Note jazz album covers, so I've used them as inspiration for how I treat type, color and shape in these images.
This episode had topics that were all over the place, hence the jumble.
Even though we all pay our dues in different ways, there's common ground among every story.
There was a bit of confusion during the episode about the old phrase, "colder than a welldigger's ass."
This cover featured the art of our guest, Adam Beeby.
Despite the fact that this is me looking creepily at you instead of a lovely woman covered in whipped cream, this cover feels very much to me like Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass's album "Whipped Cream and Other Delights".
