"AU3" is an independent feature film that employed me to do all their GFX work. I used photoshop and after effects to create 'HUD screens', 'advertisements' and concept art for the world of the film.

I created this logo for the film with the intention of creating something that felt retro, spacy and bold.
This ship design was intended to feel rugged, utikatian and beat up. The sharp angles, and green-cyan colour are consistent with the rest on the AU3 visual identity.
Heads Up Displays | Design and Motion Graphics
These heads-up displays were designed to feel utilitarian and retro. We aimed for hard angles and thick lines. The colours and animation are consistent with the emotional motifs of the film, showing ruggedness and function over flair.

'Aunty' Artificial intelligence | Concept Art and Motion Graphics
The design for Aunty needed to be simple and robust. We wanted her to be able to show a broad range of emotions with few moving pieces. We opted for the simple triangle shape to help tie her in with the rest of the film's designs. Then, we used glitch and digital details to bring her to life.
Advertisments | Graphic Design and Motion Graphics
The goal of these advertisements was to enrich the spaceship interior's atmosphere. We aimed for a range of emotions and associations for the viewer, from nostalgic to modern and minimalist. There is a propaganda ad and an ad for bottled water. Each ad was an opportunity to expand the AU3 universe.

The 'Fire Fly'
A blistering fast solution to on-planet travel. Maybe a little overkill for the job of checking meteor craters for precious metals, but a hell of a fun way to get about.
