Parkinson's 101

As part of their mission to improve quality of life for the one million people in the US living with Parkinson's Disease, the National Parkinson Foundationasked us to help create an educational series about living with the disease. Titled What You and Your Family Should Know About Parkinson's, the series is designed to empower local chapters and partners to produce ongoing educational events for patients, caregivers, and family members. We just launched the first kit - Parkinson's 101 - which gives an overview of Parkinson's, treatment options, and tips for living with the currently-uncurable disease.

We created the promotional headline "Know More. Live More." as a mantra to engage in the spread of knowledge that can greatly improve quality of life for those living with Parkinson's.

The brand system for the entire series is built around these bold phrases, hand-painted and paired with colorful watercolors for an informal, approachable tone.

Each kit in the series will focus on a different topic, and will get an identifying color, with illustrative watercolor artwork.

Each kit is delivered as a complete "Program in a Box" including curriculum and event materials, planning tips, a suite of customizable promotional materials and USB drives with electronic templates and curriculum materials.

One binder is a planning guide for event producers with scheduling and logistical guidelines and marketing and promotion tips, the other is a Speaker guide with presentation and event content.

Binder spreads are clearly laid out with all content reproduced for ease of reference by volunteers and planners.

Event content is centered on a complete presentation ready for use, including all speaker notes and visuals.

Promotional materials - posters, postcards, brochures, etc - are provided as electronic templates on USB drive, and are customizable for each event producer to add their event details before printing.

Promotional ads are provided in two sizes: flyers for posting in places like doctor's offices and pharmacies, and large posters for more public displays.
