The new heavy-weight champion of document management, Xodo, was designed to reduce users’ workload to zero… alright, let’s say close to zero by providing quick, easy and secure tools to streamline your workflow. We were tasked with designing their mobile, desktop and web applications by creating an overarching design system. 

Managing digital documents is all about understanding how several elements come together and work as one. Each document is the union of tiny bits of information, combined to tell a larger story. An image, a sentence, a paragraph, a signature – they all have to play their part to ensure a meaningful story.

The visual identity system we created picks up on this systematic framework. We began by using a grid system as our foundation, as it has always permeated the structure of documentation, from hieroglyphics to early book layouts.
