How did we achieve the target?
1. Thorough Analysis:
I began by actively participating in program briefings and tool walkthrough sessions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the current needs and the gravity of the requirement.

2. Identifying Pain Points:
Through a detailed analysis of the existing tool, I identified pain points and areas for improvement. This involved pinpointing unnecessary features that could be eliminated and recognizing opportunities for incorporating new, beneficial features.

3. Proposing Information Architecture:
Based on the analysis, I proposed a refined information architecture. This involved restructuring the layout to enhance user flow, ensuring a more intuitive and efficient user experience.

4. Wireframe Design:
With the insights gained, I seamlessly translated the proposed information architecture into wireframes. This step was crucial in visualizing the conceptual changes and laying the groundwork for the subsequent design phases.

5. Collaborative Working with the Technology Team:
The most impactful aspect of this endeavour was the collaborative effort with the technology team. This involved constant communication, explaining the project requirements, understanding technical feasibility, and iteratively refining designs based on the team's feedback.

6. Iterative Design Process:
Throughout the design phase, a continuous and iterative process was followed. Feedback loops were established, allowing for adjustments and improvements based on evolving project needs and technical considerations.

7. Design Review:
Rigorous design reviews were conducted, involving thorough assessments of the developed screens. This ensured that the final output aligned with both the initial vision and the technical specifications.

8. Timely Implementation:
The implementation of the redesigned portfolio app and authoring tools was executed within a timeframe that aligned to integrate new technology before the support cessation.

9. User Training and Transition:
To ensure a smooth transition, training sessions were organized for end-users, introducing them to the revamped features and functionalities.

10. Monitoring and Feedback:
Post-implementation, the performance of the redesigned system was monitored, and user feedback was actively sought. This feedback loop allowed for further refinements and optimizations, ensuring sustained success.

By combining strategic planning, collaborative efforts, and a user-centric design approach, we successfully achieved our target of redesigning the marketing portfolio app and authoring tools with new technology while improving the overall user experience.
Learning and achievements
I delved into a comprehensive study of the iOS design system, gaining a deep understanding of its intricacies. Proficiently leveraging the pre-existing features of the framework, I adeptly utilized them to optimize development efficiency. Demonstrating a keen awareness of technology constraints, I iteratively refined designs, ensuring a harmonious balance between technical feasibility and an enhanced user experience.

My approach involved a nuanced understanding of both technological requirements and user needs. On the technical side, I navigated constraints effectively, making informed design decisions that did not compromise the overall user experience. Simultaneously, I collaborated closely with stakeholders to comprehend user needs, explaining the necessity of specific features to enhance user accessibility and convenience.

This harmonization of technology and user-centric design elements resulted in a project that received high praise from product owners and program managers. The success of this endeavour underscored my ability to bridge the gap between technological considerations and user experience, ultimately delivering a solution that met the needs of both realms.
