JOYLI offers high-quality supplements, providing simple and joyful path to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Supplements are developed using advanced scientific research and natural ingredients to help individuals become their best selves. The JOYLI brand is featured on the online marketplace Amazon

With the redesigning, we introduce an updated set of products. The supplements become even more effective and user-friendly, catering to the needs of our beloved customers.

Preserving values, gaining new perspectives
Our expert team maintains a focus on quality and naturalness, confirming our commitment to caring for the health of our customers. 

New look, new inspiration
We are working on a new logo, packaging, and overall image, aiming to bring freshness and modernity. For product development, we leverage the latest tech and want to reflect this in the rebranding with design elements created using AI models. Our updated design refletcs a commitment while catering to a younger audience. 

What's included in the redesign?

Logo
 
The old version reflects the brand's values with a smile incorporated as a symbol. The task is to keep this essence in the new logo but this time, the typography has to be rounder, friendlier, and more modern.

Packaging

Pros of the old version that need to be preserved but adapted to the new requirements:
· Text readability and expressive large typography
· Transparent space on the label allowing visibility of the container's contents

Changes needed:
· Add brightness to the label through pictures and additional colors
· Make the product image more modern and minimalist
· Choose new fonts and redesign the layout

Important

Design requirements for successful sales on the Amazon platform differ from brands presented on physical store shelves. On the label, it's crucial to prominently showcase the most important product advantages, as the niche is often saturated with overly bright and fancy designs. Therefore, the new packaging design should not be overshadowed by competitors.

Creating the new packaging label

· Retain the transparent square container, change the lid from silver to black to enhance contrast
· Align the text with centered justification. For the text, create a rectangular background
of a dark color
· Add an illustration to the background created using an AI model
· Preserve the transparent area on the label

Stages of label and packaging development

Analyzing references and competitors in packaging design is crucial as it provides insight and inspiration for creating captivating packaging. It also helps in clearly communicating the brand image and engaging the target audience.

We've compiled references from brands with similar values, mood, and audience to guide our redesign process.
Intermediate Designs

Considering rebranding towards a younger consumer, our initial options (1, 2, 4, 6) were made vibrant and dynamic with hand-drawn elements.

We explored various styles, such as minimalism in option 3.

After trying the brighter options with different product features – for men or capsule forms – it became clear that adapting vibrant designs for a broad product range was challenging, so we set aside those options.

We decided to build on option 5 as a starting point because it's bold, highly legible,
and adaptable.

Why AI?

The label background should be neutral and reflect the composition or properties of each product. Doing this quickly and efficiently became possible with the help of AI model, and we utilized this tool in the design.

Products with the new design are already selling on Amazon and showing great conversion results.  The updated design aligns with the brand's new image.
