In reimagining healthcare interiors, we challenge the traditional norms, turning sterile spaces into sanctuaries of comfort and healing. By drawing inspiration from the luxurious warmth of hotels and the familiarity of home, our design approach fosters an environment that transcends the clinical, promoting a holistic sense of well-being for patients, staff, and visitors alike.
This project is conceived to reconcile a bold architectural style with the quality of shared spaces.
The scale is reassuring, light permeates every corner, views are multiple, and the spaces are generous. We aim to personalize the atmosphere significantly, steering away from a clinical model and offering a quality of life that naturally stimulates cognitive functions.
Circulations are never straight, as if drawn with a ruler. On the contrary, they are punctuated by numerous subspaces. Here, a glass and transparent patio; there, a lounge area materialized on the floor and ceiling; yet another solid volume housing vertical cores. This architecture, generous in its communal spaces, presents a positive image of the institution, allowing loved ones to alleviate guilt. Patients are treated in a setting filled with dignity and respect, and their families sense the thoughtfulness and generosity of the place.
