Advanced Indoor Navigation
The modern mall is more than a collection of stores. It is a complex, multi-level entity filled with retail outlets, dining options and entertainment facilities. As an experienced product designer, I am focused on improving the mall experience by tackling one of its most fundamental challenges, navigation. By integrating advanced indoor navigation technology into shopping malls, I aim to add convenience to the way we navigate these large spaces.
Deliverables for the project:

Problems
Despite their appeal, large-scale shopping malls present a universal problem: difficulty in navigation. Shoppers often spend an excessive amount of time trying to locate specific stores or amenities, leading to frustration and decreased customer satisfaction. Furthermore, traditional navigation aids like static directories or signage are limited in their capability to provide real-time, personalized guidance.

Solutions
In response to these challenges, I've designed innovative indoor navigation screens specifically tailored for shopping malls. These interactive screens leverage advanced technology to provide real-time directions, shop details, and other relevant information to shoppers at the touch of a finger. The system is smart, adapting to each mall's unique layout, and flexible, accommodating updates or changes with ease.

Benefits
The benefits of this revolutionary indoor navigation system extend beyond improved shopper experience. For mall operators, it offers a more efficient means of guiding customers, reducing congestion and improving flow. Retailers can benefit from increased visibility and foot traffic, as the system can guide shoppers straight to their doors. Additionally, the system's flexibility means it can adapt to seasonal changes or temporary layouts, ensuring optimal navigation at all times.
The Result
My innovative indoor navigation screens have already been implemented in several malls, with promising results. Shoppers have reported improved experiences, with reduced time spent searching for shops and increased satisfaction levels. Retailers have noticed increased foot traffic, and mall operators have reported improved overall efficiency. This transformative technology is more than just a design venture – it's a strategic move towards shaping the future of retail experiences.
