Be Late Wall Clock

Surface Design

In a world that often glorifies punctuality and values every minute of our day, it may seem counterintuitive to emphasize the importance of being late. However, there are moments when tardiness can carry its own significance and lessons, reminding us that life's pace isn't always a sprint, but sometimes a leisurely stroll.

01. Inspiration
The idea of creating a wall clock has always been clear in our heads because we believe it is an indispensable element in the home. At least I use it a lot when I cook. We then started to look around and see the various incredible wall clocks that are on the market and little by little we started to imagine our own.

02. Sketches
We started sketching thinking about the different uses and above all meanings of the clock. Why do we look at the clock? Why do we need to know what time it is? For our agenda or for our future? Okay, these are purely existentialist questions that we will never stop asking ourselves. However, we got to the point that in our opinion being late is not such a big problem and therefore we came to the conclusion that the chosen clock would be the "Don't worry, be late".

03. Prototype
This part was perhaps the most fun. We had never designed a watch and even though we knew the various parts that compose it, it was really pleasant to discover new hands, colours, dimensions and materials.

04. Final production
And finally the final product has arrived with its beautiful and simple packaging. We are very happy because we have sold 500 and another 500 are on the way.
