CJ 389 Branding Exercise Presentation

Branding Exercise CJ 389
This presentation was created for UNM's CJ 389: Creative Concepts. For this project, I decided to create a fictional makeup company called Starshine Theatrics Cosmetics. I am well versed in makeup, so I thought it would be interesting to be on the other side of the branding equation. I thoroughly enjoyed learning this software and getting to work collaboratively on these designs with my professor Christopher Schiotis.

As this course was only eight weeks, this course was quite labor intensive. However, I feel that I was able to rise to the challenge and create a cohesive brand identity. Thank you for your time looking at this presentation.
The Logos
Business Card
I chose a minimal, symmetrical, and center aligned so that potential clients would have space to write notes.

Process Images
Labels
These labels were used in my Adobe Dimension product renderings.
Adobe Dimension Work
It was fun to create 3D objects using Adobe Dimension. These are some product mock ups I did using the software's different materials and the labels I created.
These water bottles are useful in the day-to-day but also have applications in a makeup set. They are a good way to sell more merchandise that customers will actually use.
Photoshop Visualizations
In collaboration with my professor, these branded T-shirts were created. They appeal to the many aesthetics of the people who would buy from Starshine Theatrics Cosmetics.
Photography
These are images I took with my phone camera that I then put into Photoshop. Some of them became part of my logos.
Thank you for your time!
