'Allured' is a distorted projection of the standard of beauty, the absence of defects in body features from the viewpoint of an artificial intelligence machine. In this project, I asked Dall-E to generate photographs of facial features that were perfect by his standards, which I then printed and distorted through a scanography process as a form of defiance to that assessment. This work seeks to dispel the image of beauty which in the virtual world has now been so manipulated that it is so difficult for someone to accept the flaws in themselves due to this standardization.
