The design for this broach came from an image of my cat. The image was turned into a positive negative image in Adobe illustrator; then cut out of a piece of copper with a hand saw. The backplate has the broach stem and there is a dark green soft fabric sandwiched between the metal. The pieces are riveted together with drilled holes and copper wire that was hammered into place.
