My challenge for this project was to use compositing skills to create a digital still-life featuring a product of my choice. I had to decide on a product, make a list of other content I might need, and sketch ideas of how to combine the content. This resulted in a thumbnail sketch shown below.

After this, I began to decide on a color theme and collect assets for my composite. After doing a bit of research on my chosen product, Tajin seasoning, I realized that a lot of the company's branding reflects its Mexican roots. Knowing this, I decided on a simple color theme that incorporates the colors of the Mexican flag. 

The content I chose shows the seasoning's main ingredients, chili peppers and lime. Below are the assets I used in this project, downloadable versions can also be found in my assets folder.

I removed the backgrounds on all of my assets and placed them on an 8.5 by 11-inch canvas in Adobe Photoshop. I then arranged the content according to the thumbnail I had previously created. 

Once I was content with the placement of everything, I began using the paintbrush tool to create consistent lighting between my foreground items. I then focused on the background by adding a gradient to the Tajin logo along with a few other lighting effects. To finalize my design, I then added a shadow to ground my foreground items.

In the end, this was my final result!
