So this is my first project done primarily in Cinema 4D. I've been looking for something to stop me from procrastinating and get me to learn C4D. My boss downloaded a bunch of plug-ins at work and suggested (edit:made) I try one. A few minutes in and I was hooked!

All of these renders are done using a plug-in called Motion Drop, which you can download for free here:

The creator is a Portugese designer named Gustavo Maia. He runs My Motion Graphics, a website full of free downloads and tutorials. Definitely check it out. Anyway, Motion Drop and is graphic producer that generates up to six "drops". These drop move around the screen randomly, or you can assign them to follow a path. The size, speed, and randomness are all customizable. There are a bunch of other features. Definitely take the time to try it out.
I took these renders at the best moment as the drops were moving around the screen. Since I'm new to C4D, I tried a bunch of different material combinations to get as many different looks as possible. I also used ProShaders and TextureKitPro from Video Copilot and Greyscale Gorrila respectively. After the scenes rendered, I popped them into After Effects to color correct and add some extra elements just for fun.
Thanks for viewing! If you have any criticisms or critiques at all, don't be afraid to comment!
