Castiel is a character I created for a project a year ago and paused. I decided to bring him back to life; I have a lot of attachment to this character. It was quite intense to start thinking about his story again and to create a family for him now. He is inspired by several of my favorite characters from my teenage years.
Castiel Rivers, at the age of 16, grew up in Paris under the shadow of an authoritarian and abusive father, a strict CEO who profoundly impacted his family. After his father's death when he was 11, Castiel emancipated himself at 16, distancing himself from a clingy but loving mother. He bought an apartment with the inheritance and works part-time at a café. His 'bad boy' persona conceals a loving yet reserved heart, struggling to express emotions and using sarcasm as a defense mechanism. He is a guitarist in a garage band, finding in music an escape from family pressures and a means of emotional expression.
